Different Species of Musky

Get the low down of the species of musky you can catch in freshwater lakes. These fish can get over 50 inches long and can weigh over 50 pounds. There's four different species of musky in freshwater lakes: clear musky, spotted, musky, barred musky, and tiger musky. They all are beautiful fish, the tiger musky is one of the most unique looking fish out of the bunch. Look at the picture of instructions on how to tell the difference from the four, it's pretty easy to learn. And don't worry about telling the difference between pike, pike have a totally different look. Northern pike have a horizontal rows of oval spots, while musky's spots will be round or vertical oval spots. Musky also have a more silver color look to them.
